Spot Check

A skin cancer spot check is to address 1 - 3 specific spots that you are concerned about on your body.

What is a spot check?

Using a dermatoscope, the doctor will examine 1 – 3 spots that you are concerned about. If necessary, photos will be taken.

The doctor will discuss their findings with you, along with any recommendations for further treatment.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the findings and proposed treatment.

Spot Check FAQ

If you have a risk factor for skin cancer, then we advise to have a full body skin check. If you already have regular skin checks, and just have up to 3 spots that you are concerned about, then a Spot Check can be right for you.

A spot check takes up to 15 minutes.
